Performance Creation Canada:
Dissolving Boundaries vs Storming Barricades
Calgary Conference: October 8 – 12, 2008

Videos: Selections from the Open Space Sessions and keynote address by John Murrel

PCC Open Space

Open Space is a facilitated gathering that enables groups to address complex, important issues and achieve meaningful results quickly. PCC utilized this format with facilitators Suzanne Boss and Cheryl D’Paoli to bring together artists, presenters, students and writers from many different disciplines.

Performance Creation Canada is a nationwide network dedicated to the nourishment, management and study of performance creation in Canada, and the ecology in which it flourishes. The meeting is aimed at creating a discussion between artists in dance, theatre, music, film, and visual arts. It is open to anyone interested in discussion. It is held twice every year in a different Canadian city.

PCC Calgary was presented in partnership between Springboard’s FLUID Movement Arts Festival and the Mountain Standard Time Performative Art Festival Society (M:ST).
