Aside from our annual Fluid Movement Arts Festival, Springboard Performance is involved in many projects throughout the year.
CONTAINR IN 2010
Think of it as green cinema meets performance films. Recycled shipping containers are reconfigured to house free screenings of Canadian and international dance, sport and performance films that celebrate physicality in art and sport.
ContainR Announcement, July 14, 2009: Cineworks has been awarded an Arts Partners in Creative Development grant to work with Springboard to commission a number of new short films, addressing the intersections of sport + art, to be presented as part of the containR project during the upcoming Cultural Olympiad!
